Maseru (Lesotho)

The Alliance Française of Maseru is a non-profit organization, recognised by the Alliance Française of Paris. It promotes French language courses and cultural activities.

Learning a foreign language is to discover another culture, this is why the Alliance Française has always endeavoured to make French culture more accessible and visible to the Basotho people. Monthly events are organized around art, music and food, through exhibitions and cultural happenings, giving true meaning to our slogan : « Learn more than a language ».

Our value-added cultural environment ensures that you not only learn French but the civilization behind it. Learn as you enjoy our enriching program of films, performing arts, our 4,000-volume library and varied social events. We are truly a gateway to the French language and culture, while we create a space of interactions between the French people and the Basotho people as well as other communities.

The Alliance Française Maseru is situated right in the town center, opposite the Lancer’s Inn.
